The site has received the approvals from the City of Miami to build a 75 story multi-use building located at 340 Biscayne Blvd (the “Project”). The current schematic plans have one tower consisting of 450 residential units; 332 hotel rooms and suites; convention space with meeting rooms, restaurant, and banquet facilities; and commercial office space utilizing 1,439,352 Approved FAR square feet. The Project is located on the site of the existing Holiday Inn in the heart of downtown Miami, adjacent to the Miami Dade College Campus, with unobstructed views of Bayfront Park and Biscayne Bay, with the Port of Miami, Fischer Island, Miami Beach, and the Atlantic Ocean on the immediate horizon.
340 Biscayne has speedy access to I-95 from Miami Ave; to Miami Beach via I-395 from Biscayne Ave itself. Shopping is across the street in Bayside Shopping Center and Marina, with Bloomingdales Shopping Center about to commence 3 blocks north of the site. The American Airlines Arena is also 4 blocks north; the Perez Art Museum and the Science Museum 7 blocks to the north; and the Adrienne ArshtCenter for the Performing Arts at 13th Street and Biscayne Boulevard, putting the site in the middle of Miami’s cultural center.
